The "fruit' stage of prickly pear blossums- watch for catus wren among the thorns. Prickly Pear have been used by Native Americans, generations of Mexicans, and Texas ranchers many different purposes through time. |

A working cowboy's spur, a true work of art, especially when dressed up with a "jingle bell" by a custom bootmaker, may be seen at local rodeos's, cattle drives and - if you are lucky - at the neighorhood convenience store. |
